Ms. Geller was the founder and CEO of Government Contract Solutions (GCS), a government contracting professional services firm for the intelligence and civilian federal markets. GCS managed highly visible and mission critical IT programs for federal agencies around the globe. GCS exceled in identifying cost savings for its customers in large scale programs and federal budgets. Nicole led the Company since its inception in 1996 to a successful exit in late 2014. Ms. Geller provided strategic oversight and corporate guidance for the executive staff in the operations of the business. GCS employed more than 375+ highly skilled professionals and was an award-winning leader in management consulting services providing long term, sustainable value to its federal customers.
Currently, Ms. Geller is a Senior Director of Springer Lawson and Associates providing growth acceleration, pre-transaction readiness services and post transaction integration services. Springer Lawson works with CEOs and their executive teams to drive growth and efficiency at every stage, similar to a board of advisors that consult, but also actively engage in day to day operations, as needed.
Ms. Geller was a 2014, Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist, a SMARTCEO Future 50 Award winner in 2014 and 2013, SMARTCEO Govstar Award in 2013 and 2012, and was included 5 years running on the “Inc. 5000” list. GCS was recognized by the Women President’s Organization in its Top 10 annual listing of the 50 Fastest-Growing US Women-Led Companies 2012, and recognized by the Washington Business Journal’s Fast 50 in 2012 and was a GMU Alumni of the Year 2013.
Prior to founding GCS, Ms. Geller was a manager with Booz, Allen & Hamilton and began her management consulting career at Planning Research Corporation, where, she led numerous process improvement initiatives that delivered significant cost savings to both firms portfolios of commercial, international and government customers.
Ms. Geller is an appointed Board member of the George Mason University (GMU) Board of Trustees, Chair of Trustee Nominating and Governance Committee and Executive Committee Member. She sponsored the launch and continues to work with GMU’s newly created university wide Entrepreneur Center. Ms. Geller served for three years as Board member for the Women’s Center located in Vienna, VA, and is a long-term member of the Committee of 200 (an invitation only group of the top 200 women business executives in the US). She was also a member of the worldwide Young President’s Organization (YPO) for many years and now serves as facilitator of the Washington DC area YPO women CEO roundtable.
