I am constantly impressed by the quality of the monthly events that SECAF hosts. They are relevant, timely and feature speakers who provide actionable information. 

In fact, a few years ago I spoke as part of an 8(a) panel, where panelists were asked to share their experiences as a certified SDB. Listening to the two other panelists share their experiences and path to success turned out to be one of the most rewarding and enriching experiences. The tables were turned and instead of me providing value to the audience, I found a lot of value from them. That was the turning point when I decided to join the SECAF Board.

Also, the high ratio of companies to services providers has been a large draw for me as I’ve found the networking of a much higher quality than at other organizations.  Being able to interact with other company owners and executives enables me to gain valuable insight as to how to grow InScope. At the same time, the service providers that are a part of SECAF are best in class, having passed through a vetting process that would have taken me months to replicate.

SECAF is an organization that will truly help a small emerging government contractor grow their business. There are many organizations that exist for networking purposes and SECAF certainly has that and does that well. But, no other organization will help provide actionable, tangible direction to help a company navigate the complex procurement bureaucracy and take their company to the next level.
