Upcoming SECAF Events
"SECAF has had an enormous positive impact on my business, but also me personally. SECAF offers opportunities for business growth, education, financial assistance and advice, networking, as well as the opportunity to give back. The members of SECAF are always there to provide assistance in any area that a small business would need. I recommend SECAF to brand new as well as emerging small businesses."
Benefits
SECAF exemplifies the most important tenets for a small and emerging contractor: integrity, trust, ethics and quality. SECAF's Board of Directors remains committed to these values that were present when the organization was founded. The overriding spirit is to give to the government contracting community, and watch it grow. Education, empowerment and advocacy are vital to the contracting industry, and everyone benefits from the community SECAF creates.
Where many organizations are concerned with programs that create mass appeal and thus, create an intimidating environment, SECAF remains true to its core constituent: the small and emerging contractor and the players in the ecosystem that rely on small business.
Contractor Advice Forum
The Contractor Advice Forum (CAF) is a unique value-added service for SECAF member companies.
The goal of the CAF is to engage the contracting community in a learning environment. Two primary segments will be addressed with established experts serving as resources for commonly sought questions:
- “Ask the C-level” segments will be peer-to-peer sessions entitled “Ask the CEO/President” and “Ask the CFO” and will allow member CEOs and CFOs to ask questions directly to their designated CAF CEO/President and CFO Advisors.
- “Functional Best Practice” segments will consist of CAF Advisors in the following specialty categories of expertise: Information Technology, Human Resources, Mergers & Acquisitions, Financing, and Business Partnering/Market Penetration.
Advisors have been pre-selected and pre-qualified to serve as expert sources based on their area of expertise, their availability to give back to the community, and their years in service. A SECAF Dispatcher will control the flow of questions and answers between the experts and member companies, to ensure a 48-hour response time around topics of interest.
For the Emerging Government Contractor ($0 to $25 M)

Programs that support education around successful business practices, business growth, contract partnering, recruitment and retention, program development and much more are what keeps SECAF growing stronger year-over-year.
For the Mid-Sized Government Contractor ($25M to $100M)

Through its focus on providing access to the large government contracting community, SECAF is committed to bringing together the best minds in the community with the future contracting leaders of tomorrow.
For the Large Government Contractor (more than $100 M)
