Nomination Qualifications and Criteria
 

Qualifications:

The SECAF Contractor of the Year will be awarded to a Washington DC regional company that has shown an unquestioned commitment to excellence during 2008 as measured by the criteria listed below. Applicants must be headquartered in the Greater Metropolitan Washington, DC region.

 
Criteria:
 
Five finalists will be selected for each size category based upon the following (maximum 250 words per bullet):
  • Company description including core capabilities, customers, and number of employees
  • Company contributions and leadership provided to the community
  • Company contributions and leadership provided to the small and emerging government contracting community
  • Company growth (last three fiscal year’s revenue)
  • Breakdown of revenue between government (prime and sub) and commercial customers
  • Company positioning for the future (highlight new contract wins and targeted areas of expansion)
  • Special attributes of the company's corporate culture and unique traits that differentiate it from its peers
