Richard Pineda is the Co-founder and CEO for Spear, Inc. He is responsible for the overall strategy, leadership and long-term growth of Spear.  He has a demonstrated track record of successfully servicing IT and business consulting customers in the federal space. From a business plan & vision, Pineda has grown Spear to a 5-year Revenue CAGR of 124.4%, with presence in DoD, Federal Civilian, and National Security Customers in 27 support offices in 17 states.  Prior to his current position, Richard was the President of Dell Services Federal Government, a $1.3B P&L responsibility with over 5,700+ employees.  In that capacity within the Fortune 50 organization, he was responsible for oversight of the company’s business operations, financial management, security, leadership, and service delivery to its Civilian Federal, Department of Defense, and National Security customers.

Pineda earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Virginia Tech and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Management Information Systems from George Washington University. He possesses specialized training on many businesses and IT related disciplines. He is a member of the American Society of Military Comptrollers, on whose Board he served for three terms as well as The President’s Advisory Board of Virginia Tech and other privately held companies’ Corporate Advisory Boards.
