Please join Mr. John Tenaglia, Principal Director, Defense Pricing, Contracting, and Acquisition Policy (DPCAP), in a discussion of key initiatives within the Department of War’s recently released Acquisition Transformation Strategy. Mr. Tenaglia will provide unique perspectives on DPCAP-led initiatives such as Stabilizing Demand Signals, Accelerating Commercial Preference, Going Direct-to-Supplier, Reforming Bid Protests, Maximizing Flexible Contracting, Common-Sense Accounting, FAR and DFARS Reduction, and the Wartime Production Unit.

He is responsible for the pricing and contracting policy matters that relate to over $450 billion in annual contract obligations. He serves as the principal advisor to the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (USD(A&S)) on acquisition and procurement negotiation strategies for all major weapon systems.
