The DoD has been trying to implement cybersecurity compliance rules (DFARS 204.252-7012) for the supply chain for several years and there was a lot of activity in this area in 2020 that will affect most government contractors in 2021 and beyond.

 
This webinar will provide details about some of the latest changes/updates to the DoD's cybersecurity compliance programs including:

The DFARS 7012 Interim Rule that went into effect on November 30, 2020
The latest CMMC rollout schedule
The status of the CMMC Accreditation Board and ecosystem
How a new Administration might alter the trajectory of the CMMC program
If and when the rest of the Federal government will adopt the CMMC model

Tim Brennan is the CEO of SysArc, an IT Managed Services Provider he founded 2004, that focuses on helping Government Contractors stand up effective cybersecurity programs for their internal systems to reduce risk,  maintain business continuity and comply with industry regulations and best practices.  Tim has more than 35 years of experience in the IT industry working in the government contracting and commercial industries in both technical and non-technical roles.  Tim started his career at Booz Allen as a software engineer working on DoD programs and moved on to start his own software development company from there.  Tim is a serial entrepreneur having founded two successful technology companies and worked on several other startups in his time.  He is passionate about building strong teams that provide efficient solutions and great customer service to businesses so they can utilize technology effectively in their organizations.

 
Mr. Bai is a cybersecurity professional with A-LIGN, a FedRAMP 3PAO and CMMC C3PAO company.  As the Federal Practice Lead at A-LIGN, Mr. Bai supports all FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST 800-171, CMMC and other NIST-based projects. He is responsible for overseeing all NIST-based engagements and providing security controls advisory and guidance to clients. Mr. Bai has hands-on experience leading all stages of system security, including requirements definition, auditing, scanning, and mitigation. His extensive background includes providing risk assessments of information systems for government agencies and commercial clients, most notably the Defense Health Agency, US Air Force, and various Fortune 500 companies across multiple industries. Mr. Bai brings an impressive blend of knowledge of security controls and technical aspects of cybersecurity and IT operations.
