Teaming and subcontracting have always been critical tools for small businesses to pursue and win work with the federal government. In the current environment, there may be fewer federal contract opportunities, and that places even more importance on strong teaming relationships. While teaming and subcontract arrangements provide many potential advantages, there can also be significant downsides if they are not carefully structured.
