Are you experiencing issues with attracting and/or retaining people with targeted and highly sought-after skill sets?  Come participate in a discussion of emerging pay strategies in the government contracting market.
Pay trends for different factions (i.e., operations vs. client services) are shifting. To remain relevant in talent acquisition strategies, leaders find themselves with a need to respond to market compensation demands in ways they’ve never had to before.  Join us in this interactive conversation with Helios HR Compensation experts and discover innovative strategies that will help your business achieve success.

Speaker:  Cicely C. Clayton, Principal Consultant

Ms. Clayton is a solutions oriented professional who has over 17 years of experience in all aspects of progressive human resource management, primarily focused in financial services, healthcare and government contractor environments.  Ms. Clayton originally began her career as a college intern with the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) and joined the private sector after graduating. She began her professional career with a large government contractor creating annual affirmative action plans and quarterly monitoring reports in addition to providing support for over 30 OFCCP desk audits. She made the transition into Compensation in early 2005 after the successful completion of a Glass Ceiling Audit and the contribution to the implementation and design of a complex human resources management system (HRMS).

As an HR professional, Ms. Clayton has been responsible for overseeing all aspects of performance management and salary planning processes, annual and quarterly budgeting for short and long term incentive awards, incentive design, HRIS design and implementation, job classification, benchmarking, and job offer processes for all job levels including C-Suite executives, business and strategic planning, organizational design strategy and Compensation Committee submissions.  Additionally, she has had extensive experience, across several industries, with the development, communication and implementation of progressive and solutions-oriented compensation and total rewards programs.

Ms. Clayton has proven to be very proficient at understanding the needs of executive leadership, recommending well thought out solutions that address core business needs and socializing ideas with peers and thought leaders in an effort to gain the needed buy in to operationalize strategic plans and transitions. She has a long history of successfully partnering with executive management and Human Resource leadership to define long lasting, compliant and sustainable business solutions.
