Small government contractors will gain insight into the 6 DFARS Business Systems, which business rules and processes can be automated, and what accounting system requirements are critical to achieve compliance.

Presented by: Cyndi Dunn, Senior Director, Cordia Partners. 

Cyndi Dunn is a Senior Director at Cordia Partners providing accounting outsourcing, consulting, and advisory services to government contractors and various professional service organizations.

Cyndi has over 30 years of professional experience in all facets of accounting operations, compliance, internal audit, and internal controls.  Cyndi has extensive expertise in FAR, DFARS Business Systems, CAS, and GAAP.  In addition, Cyndi’s government contracting experience includes CFO oversight with the focus on accounting and contract compliance/management. 

Cyndi’s management responsibilities have included strategic planning, mergers and acquisition assistance, financial statement preparation, indirect rate development and/or restructure, and preparation & revision of CAS disclosure statements. She has also managed implementation and remediation of DFARS business systems, preparation and assistance of client’s government agency audits (DCAA and DCMA, primarily), training executive management, and overall government contract compliance to help mitigate both the contractor’s and government’s risk.

Prior to coming to Cordia Partners, Cyndi was a director at a national government contracting firm and held executive financial management positions at two large government contract companies in the Northern VA area. Cyndi started her career in public accounting and has experience with both educational institutions and not for profit organizations during her extensive career.
