INNOVIM, LLC
Cindi Brown, Chief Operating Officer
SECAF provides an abundance of access points to future collaboration, business growth, and crucial learning opportunities. We chose to be part of that. INNOVIM’s membership has given us more insight into the small business world and provided access to industry leaders that were unavailable or unknown to us before joining. SECAF events create a first line of introduction to these people and a comfortable arena to interact in. Our membership has also allowed us to make connections that we wouldn’t have had the opportunity to make otherwise.
The various briefings have laid the groundwork for a solid pipeline of knowledge and business development. Case in point – we struck teaming agreements through people we’ve met at these SECAF events, which has tangibly contributed to our company’s growth.
For INNOVIM, the most beneficial experience we’ve had is at the Mitch Ross Executive Briefing in November 2013. As the Director of Acquisitions and Grants at NOAA, he placed upcoming procurements in context of the organization and provided unique insights not available in the general marketplace. Being at that event was the highlight of our first-year as members, giving us more insight in and access to our industry.
Finally, SECAF is plugged in to the latest information and trends in our industry, and communicates this intel with clarity. Their outreach is solid, they are well-informed, and they are ready-and-willing to help you with questions. The staff is attuned to the plight of small businesses, providing real-time fixes for their members. If you have critical questions, they are prepared to address them and work with you side-by-side to resolve the issue.
