Senior Vice President/Senior Relationship Manager – Business Banking
Matt Agresti is a Senior Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager, Business Banking, at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. In this role, he leads a team of commercial banking specialists that provides and delivers strategic financial advice and solutions to organizations and companies with $5 million to $50 million in annual revenue.
Based in Washington, DC, Matt joined Bank of America in 1989 and has served many roles in his 27 plus years with the bank. His roles have included time as a consumer loan officer, loan review officer, loan underwriter and since 1996, as business banker. Matt began his career with the bank in Tampa, FL after coming over from active duty in the military.
Matt moved to the Washington, DC office in 1998 and has been managing and leading the same client portfolio for the past 18 years. His two areas of expertise are in not for profit and government contractor industries.
He received his undergraduate degree in International Relations from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the USAF in the same year of 1988. He served for 8 years as both on active duty and reserve officer from 1988 to 1996.
Active in the community, he is involved as both a volunteer and on board positions of a few organizations here in the DMV. He holds board positions with FAR (Finance and Administration Roundtable) and SECAF (Small and Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum). Matt also volunteers his time with the Fisher House at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and Honor Flights.
Matt is married with 3 children and resides in Haymarket, VA.
