I was drawn to SECAF after attending the 2011 annual Awards Gala, an exceptional event where InCadence was named a SECAF Contractor of the Year: Under $6M category. Receiving this award increased our visibility to potential customers, partners and future employees, giving us the opportunity and tools needed to stand out amongst the many small government contractors in our industry. At the conclusion of the event I knew that I wanted to be a part of such an inspirational, growing and influential group.

Moving forward and engaging with SECAF, the organization has consistently provided me with a wealth of information. Being a small contractor, there is a lot to learn in regards to compliance, contracting and business growth. SECAF successfully addresses these needs and areas of interest on an on-going basis by providing up-to-date and relevant information in various aspects of government contracting, as well as networking opportunities with key industry leaders. My involvement with SECAF has helped me create many professional relationships, allowing my network to grow and strengthen with new partnerships. These new connections have resulted in the development of InCadence’s online time and expense reporting system, the creation of a strong banking relationship and introductions to new media contacts. Our involvement has also contributed to new business opportunities and supported the rapid growth of the company.
