SECAF Announces Finalists for Fifth Annual Government Contractor Awards
Annual Program Recognizes Leaders in the Emerging Government Contractor Ecosystem

March 25, 2013, McLean, VA – The Small and Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum (SECAF) today announced the finalists for its Fifth Annual SECAF Awards.  SECAF’s flagship event honors small and emerging government contractors and the players in the industry that rely on small business. Winners will be announced during its  Awards Gala on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at the Hilton McLean in Tysons Corner.

“SECAF’s mission is to assist government contractors achieve maximum growth in a highly competitive marketplace. That said, these awards spotlight companies in our community that continually and consistently put forth great effort and produce results that benefit the entire Washington metropolitan area and the government contractor community as a whole,” said Kwesi Rogers, chairman of SECAF and president of Federal National Commercial Credit.  “We believe this year’s finalists are very deserving and in need of recognition for their numerous successes.”

This year’s finalists, all headquartered in the Washington, DC area, were chosen in five  categories. The Government Contractor of the Year recognizes companies that have shown a compelling and profound commitment to excellence in financial performance. The SECAF Award of Excellence highlights organizations that represent excellence within their respective communities, the government contracting industry, and towards employees.  Finally, the Government Project of the Year is given to a company that has delivered an exemplary program with significant value to the federal government.
